Get to know our new CEO: Antonia Eneh

We're excited to finally introduce our new CEO, Antonia Eneh. With a unique background and strong ambition, Antonia is ready to lead Wave Ventures in backing the most exceptional Gen Z founders across the New Nordics.
Meet Antonia
Driven by a strong belief in her generation's ability to shape a brighter future, Antonia approaches her new role with bold ambition and optimism. Currently pursuing a Master's in Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University, Antonia has already led Slush's finance team, worked as a consultant at McKinsey, and even won a European Championship in fitness sports.
Antonia's journey with Wave began early in 2023, and her excitement for supporting young talent quickly became apparent. Now, as CEO, she brings fresh energy to the table and is ready to take Wave to new heights.
"Wave is here to back the most talented young founders building the future," Antonia says. "We're committed to being the first point of contact for Gen Z founders seeking funding across the New Nordics," she continues.
A unique model with huge potential
Under Antonia's leadership, Wave aims to be among the first investors in all the unicorns in the New Nordics built by young founders. Over the past two years, Wave Ventures has successfully invested in approximately 80% of young Finnish teams receiving subsequent VC funding. The next goal is to achieve similar success across the Nordics and Baltics.
"Our model uniquely identifies and surrounds ourselves with the best talent. We can recognize these future founders early on because we are part of their world. We're the friends they can turn to for anything." Antonia explains.
"We also have a driven, ambitious, young team passionate about accelerating the growth of the top Gen Z teams. Our team has built an extensive global network, which we leverage to ensure our founders have everything they need to succeed. From sourcing to making investment decisions to running the fund, our team handles it all, fully committed to helping the most promising young founders thrive," she adds.
Wave Ventures believes in the power of young entrepreneurs to drive impactful change. As a Gen Z herself, Antonia understands both the challenges and opportunities her generation faces
